Concorde Music is a family owned business based in Perth, Scotland that specialises in providing anything and everything related to Scottish and Irish music from CD's to music books and DVD's of some of the most respected players old and new. We stock all types of music we just specialise in the Scottish, Classical and Traditional Celtic genre.

Established in 1967 were are still going strong as one of the sole surviving independents trading in Scotland today .We attribute this to the sheer depth of our catalogue and knowledge of Scottish music as well as our excellent customer service, which we are well known for and proud of.

In the shop we stock many accessories for musicians including strings, reeds and tuners. We also have an excellent library of music books for guitar tablature, Scottish accordion books and trinity guildhall exam books to name a few. Our books section of the website is split into instrument category for easy navigation and to avoid disappointment when you realise that the book you have been searching for turns out to be tablature for guitar when you need it for the fiddle! You will also find books on how to learn Scottish dancing and single sheet music.

The Red Hot Chilli Pipers

The Red Hot Chilli Pipers are affectionately referred to in Scotland as the next Jock and Roll; an accolade realised after the band shot to international fame after appearing on television performing their very own brand of traditional but contemporary (if you will allows us that paradox) Scottish music. The band are a troupe of established and highly regarded musicians who have taken a traditional Scottish instrument, the Bagpipes, not usually associated with popular music and given classic rock and pop songs a whole new flavour. This has opened the doors of Pop music to those who's taste lay in the traditional pipes and their classic songs; but now the hardened traditionalist can he seen toe tapping to Smoke on the Water and Coldplay songs as well as Flower of Scotland!

The band has many celebrity endorsers including Ewan McGregor, Max Clifford and Dave Spikey. The Band also played on the Darkness single One Way Ticket To Hell and Back and they also featured on the Soundtrack of the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
