Bunny (Jon Morrison) is supposedly gainfully employed as a postman - at least that's what he's told his wife. In reality he is walking the Scottish hillsides all day, wondering why he doesn't want to work.
On his travels he meets Jody (Billy Connolly), an older man who has told his wife that he works in a factory. The two men spend a day of friendship together talking their way through their mutual alienation from the world of employment, but what does the future hold? If you tell lies you might just get caught out. Tonight is supposed to be pay night...
