This fascinating programme, compiled from colour film taken by local cameramen, looks at some of the long-closed lines and stations that formed part of Fife's railway network until the closures of the 1960s.
Filmed at a wide variety of locations, the programme features many of the regular steam classes that operated in Fife until the end of Scottish steam workings in 1967, including A4, A3, B1, V2, J36, WDs, together with industrial locomotives working in the British Aluminium Works at Burntisland. Programme also includes East Coast Main Line, Leslie Branch, Wemyss Private Railway, the route from St. Andrews to Pittenweem & much more.
